#is it me or do they look like evil murder twins there #w lydia advising Stiles on something (via wolfbad)
LYDIA TELLING STILES HOW SHE WANTS HIM TO KILL PLS AND THANK
"Go for the throat," she says, breath hot on his jaw and her hand a ground against the high of it, the fear and the lust and the electric hum of adrenaline coursing through his trembling limbs.
But Lydia’s hand is steady, her touch light despite its profound presence. It’s not a comfort. Comfort isn’t something they give lightly, not even to each other. Comfort is a luxury that can only be earned. Taken. Stolen, even, in the quiet hours before dawn, but never given.
Peter taught them well. Nothing is free.
Instead, that touch serves as a reminder — of his training, of their struggle, of what it will mean if he can finally do this. What they could become.
We could be free, he thinks, so softly because even to think it feels like a jinx. Even to give it an inner voice could be too much.
If Peter ever guessed… if he even dreamed of the possibility…
Stiles rolls his shoulders, pushes away the fear until his mind was as empty as the clearing, as cold and pure as the snow.
"No," he answers. "Up and under the ribs."
Straight for the heart.

I’m starting to develop religions within the pokemon regions. It’s pretty fun but also highly confusing.
So far, I’m thinking that Kanto, Johto and Hoenn all share fairly similar religions. They follow the same deities (Mew being the highest power and pokemon such as Lugia, Ho-oh, Groudon and Kyogre falling below her as lesser gods) and have similar beliefs in terms of spirits, how things were created and life after death. Though, they have their differences in terms of legends and practices too. It’s kind of like one big religion that spread out into different branches. Practice and tradition wise, it can be seen as very similar to eastern religions such as Buddhism and Shinto. The practice of these religions really only exist in these three regions (with a hand full of other followers in Sinnoh, and even less across the rest of the world).
Despite being a part of the same country as Johto, Hoenn and Kanto, Sinnoh is sort of in its own ball park. They follow Arceus as their highest power with Palkia, Dialga and Giratina falling below him. It can be seen as similar in structure to the religion that follows Mew—so back in ancient times, this caused a lot of feud between Sinnoh and the other regions. Practice and tradition wise, it is also very similar to most eastern religions—though it has a bit of a western twist to it as well because of the spread of the religion. This religion is the most wide-spread across the pokemon world, having about 2 billion followers world-wide (the equivalent to our world’s Christianity).
The most prominent religion in Unova follows the Tao trio (Zekrom, Reshiram and Kyreum). This religion is based strictly in the Unova region and is similar practice and traditions wise to most western religions in our culture (Judaism and Christianity as examples). Unova is known for having a lot of extremist groups when it comes to religion, and there are a lot of different parts of Unova that interpret the religion differently. Many people take sides (the side of ideals vs. the side of truths). Though, a lot of people like to find balance between truth and ideals and follow what the brothers realized after their battle.
The Kalos region probably has the most “westernized” religion of the bunch. Again, it’s a religion based more strictly in Kalos. Xerneas and Yveltal are both gods who represent life and death and serve of equal importance to the people who follow the religion. This religion is the most small scale of the bunch. I’d write more about it, but it’s kind of hard when we don’t seem to know as much about Kalos as the other regions.
Also, religions of our world exist within the world of pokemon as well (Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, etc.). But they are incredibly rare and not as prominent as the pokemon-based religions. Though, commercial holidays such as Christmas (as seen int he anime) stems from Christianity—though holds little religious value to the people of the pokemon world.
